Research Analyst
Role Description
As the Research Analyst, you will work with Qfinity to make a difference in the ecosystem. Responsibilities
Work and think independently and self-motivated to have innovative approach on data management.
Support wide analytics by collaborating with other departments to understand reporting needs and requirement.
Design, develop, automate and maintain the database and reporting packages.
Provide input and data to drive adoption of global processes and reporting.
Produce and justify in-house rating system based on ad-hoc project needs.
Provide schedule advice to carry out major plans and procedures to ensure schedule attainment, and performance and KPIs are met Market Intelligence.
Conduct intelligence analysis to ensure major markets (China, ASEAN etc) point of view is clearly voiced out to relevant stakeholders.
Develops strategic and tactical data initiatives using up-to-date information.
Monitor data quality and ensure accurate information feeds into tools and processes to facilitate decision making Business & Finance.
Conduct detailed business analysis to discover underlying problems and potential solutions
Implement new AFM (Accounts & Finance Manual) that affect financial processes.
Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in fast-paced environments within technology entrepreneurship and venture capital or Minimum 2-3 years of experience for related departments in top consulting firms.
Bachelor or Master degree in relevant business discipline, e.g. Management, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business from top universities or equivalent.
Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools or programming languages such as SQL, Access, Python etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, additional languages will be considered favourable.
Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
