COO

Role Description

As COO of a new venture of Qfinity, you will be responsible for setting up all operations, building the team, developing the business activities and gaining market leadership. Joining us will be very challenging and rewarding, where you will benefit from our expertise and support in all relevant functions. You will gain the broadest experience in setting up a company. Thus, you will work as an entrepreneur, yet be part of an international team of highly motivated and talented people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.

  • Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.

  • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the other key executive team members.

  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company.

  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

  • Works with other c-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.

  • Work closely with the senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.

  • Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.

  • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.

  • Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • You have earned an outstanding degree at a top university.

  • 3 - 5 years startup, operations management, project management, consulting, investment banking or technology background.

  • You are fluent in English and Mandarin, additional languages will be considered favourable.

  • You have strong structuring and analytical skills, beyond your managerial skills, combined with a hands-on attitude.

  • You are very passionate about technology and have deep interest in developing businesses.

  • You are independent, flexible, open-minded and speedy.

  • You are keen on travelling to support projects worldwide.

  • Plus points if you are an entrepreneur and have the ability to achieve goals in a fast paced environment.
