Community Manager

Role Description

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating strategies to foster a strong community of technology ecosystem between China and ASEAN.

Responsibilities

  • Organising events focusing on building a tech ecosystem.

  • Defining and developing a community management strategy.

  • Organising various community-building initiatives to cultivate and grow participation in community forums.

  • Establish, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns.

  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts.

  • Monitor, track and report on feedback from community members and partners.

  • Organise and manage events to boost brand awareness.

  • Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Marketing, Community Management or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines, e.g. Marketing, Business Administration from top universities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Additional languages will be considered a plus.

  • Ability to generate impactful content.

  • Familiar and adept at managing Chinese and ASEAN social media platforms (WeChat, TikTok, Douyin, Tencent Video, Instagram).

  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders.

  • Excellent event management skills and are able to handle several responsibilities in a dynamic, evolving environment.

  • Resourceful with a strong ecosystem mindset.

  • Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and deliverables.
