Role Description
As a City Launcher, you will be part of our top talent program, which is the global taskforce of our best people who set up our companies worldwide. You will have the unique opportunity to launch new Qfinity markets. Being the first team member in a new city, you will build out the strategy and infrastructure for our local operations teams to succeed in the market. Your role will touch all aspects of our business - from setting the growth strategy, hiring local teams and acquiring customers. This fast-paced, entrepreneurial role requires strong project management skills and a self-starter attitude to drive success and sustainable growth for Qfinity.
Responsibilities
Influence the launch vision and growth strategy of Qfinity through market research and industry trend analysis.
Build a new market from the ground up by establishing strategic partnerships, training and onboarding new accounts, and executing our launch playbook.
Recruit and train local operations teams, which may include a City Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and Community Manager.
Set targets/metrics for local operations teams to achieve pre and post-handover of responsibilities.
Work cross-functionally with our global operations, sales, product teams - and more to provide product feedback and help roll out best practices.
Requirements
You have earned an outstanding degree at a top university.
3 - 5 years startup, operations management, project management, consulting, investment banking or technology background.
You are interested in Tech, Innovation, and Startups.
You are fluent in English and Mandarin, additional languages will be considered favourable.
You have strong structuring and analytical skills, beyond your managerial skills, combined with a hands-on attitude.
You are very passionate about technology and have deep interest in developing businesses.
You are independent, flexible, open-minded and speedy.
You are keen on travelling to support projects worldwide.
Plus points if you are an entrepreneur and have the ability to achieve goals in a fast paced environment.
